Questions and Answers
Mary Ann Morrison asked this question about the Community Show Themes and we answered.

I love the link to the Community Shows, and sent it to a friend. Could we have an explanation of the vision behind the titles or, as I told her, she could interpret however she wants.

Our answer:
Thanks for the feedback, Mary. The themes for the Community Shows are guidelines, to open doors to your creativity. This month, the theme was "All Things Paper," if you look at our Facebook page, you'll see that the possibilities for interpretation are endless and all different. It all depends on your chosen medium and your unique perspective on the subject. Even if it's an imaginary thing, you can do with paper or canvas or mixed media. Art is all about seeing things from your point of view and bringing that creation to life through your artwork.

Why Join the Franklin County Arts Guild

The Franklin County Arts Guild promotes artists and craftspeople through its gallery, The Artisan Depot, scholarships, education, and community programs.

Often with art I feel I’m talking with someone who knows something I don’t, something I’d like to know. Art stretches me, challenges me, makes me think and feel.  by Nea Staff
